![]() #VOX MACHINA LATIN SERIES#The series was set to take place before the events of the live stream, ending with the conclusion of the fan-favorite Briarwood arc, filling in the gaps that occurred between the initial home game, and where the audience came in at the start of the show, in 2015. While the series was thoroughly enjoyable, the only perceived issue is the pacing. The humor may be a bit raunchy for some, and for those with weaker constitutions (if you know, you know), the violence and gore can be somewhat vivid. ![]() With that in mind, viewers certainly do not need to be a fan of the source material to enjoy the series for what it is. That said, as a long-term fan of the original show, there is a ton of fan service in place, with many familiar characters and scenes that were wonderful to see brought to life in vivid animation, and voiced by an incredible, all-star cast, featuring the likes of Khary Payton, Stephen Root, and David Tennant, just to name a few. Though the campaign (the term used for a long-term game) had been running for two years prior to the stream, gamers were met with a group of lovable, misfit heroes known as Vox machina, Latin for voice machine, a tie-in and nod to the casts’ shared prof. What began as a weekly game played by a group of beloved friends and fellow voice actors gained surprising fame on Twitch and YouTube, when it first aired in 2015.
